Rockledge Elementary School
Honeywell National Center for Exploited and Missing Children contacted me to give the first prize winner Mrs. Jessica Beaman a total classroom makeover for her winning essay on "Keeping Our Children Safe". I redesign the layout of the room to provide more storage space as well as painting, furnishings, window treatments and refurbishing the desks. Tamika Contee of Contee Creations, LLC design the mural about "Safety" using Honeywell's theme cartoon charaters which was an intricate part of the design. I had only 3 weeks to pull this makeover together before the "Big Reveal". Local television stations, newspapers, Executive staff of Honeywell and Ms.Beaman's classroom was on hand for the unveiling of the classroom. I have to thank my staff and Rockledge's support for helping me through the long hours to give Mrs. Beamon the classroom that she always dreamed of. |
